David Bryngelsson, PhD

CEO, CarbonCloud

David Bryngelsson, PhD, spent 8 years immersed in Climate Change Mitigation as a published researcher and lecturer at Chalmers University of Technology before founding CarbonCloud.

With access to decades of climate research and data that could solve over a quarter of global emissions currently released by the food industry, he mobilized an impactful team of scientists, software engineer, and climate-accountable business developers to empower food system actors to combat climate change.

For David, the shift from science to entrepreneurship was the necessary and responsible path to put emissions-reduction knowledge and data into the hands of those who need it to solve climate change. So far, over 500 food companies have utilized David’s strategic insights to carve data-driven climate strategies and drive successful emissions reduction initiatives.

For strategists who outgrew marketing claims, and are looking for action

Map out the climate landscape

Climate-related financial disclosures, the emerging reporting standards, and finally, what does net zero mean for food supply chains?

Climate strategy through case studies

What are the 8 progress tracks of a climate strategy, how have climate leaders in the food industry progressed, and at what maturity stage is your organization?

Reduction steps in practice

What do you need to reduce emissions along the supply chain and where do you start? What are the most common mistakes and most impactful moves?

Making climate action the food industry's new normal

Climate disclosures are on the way, a reporting standard is missing, climate certifications are showing up left and right, and company reputations are at stake for picking the wrong strategy.

Every industry is responding to the climate crisis at a different pace – but the food industry is lagging behind. And not because it’s lacking the will.

David Bryngelsson Ph.D brings the CarbonCloud Academy to Europe to share successful strategies proven effective in the food industry  and equip companies that have the will with a way.

Join us as we map out the landscape of climate performance in the food industry and navigate the way forward into climate-proof food production.
